PK-52, the self-adhesive label applicator for cylindrical containers
The PK-52 applicator is a compact and industrial semi-automatic table top system for round products with diameters between 10 and 110mm. It allows you to apply one or two labels on cylindrical containers quickly and accurately. It can apply single label wraparound, or it can be set to apply double-sided (if these are already printed sequentially on the roll).
The paper feed is automatic and accepts rolls up to 160mm wide. The managed containers can have from 10mm to 120mm in diameter. The real innovation is in the possibility of connecting it in line with a color label printer such as the EPSON C3500 , so as to be able to perform the print and apply job in a single pass, up to about 800/900 pieces per hour.
Easy, compact, robust
It can apply a wrap-around label or two front / back labels. Using the distance regulator (potentiometer) you can easily adjust the exact position of the back label and store the position. The selector offers the two positions for single or double label. The use of the machine is simple and intuitive for all operators, by lowering the lever the label application cycle starts and ends automatically. The lateral stop with tightening knob adjusts the height of the label on the jar. The "fork" that houses the containers between the rubber rollers is easily adjustable and firmly fixed in position so as to be able to handle very small products of 10mm in diameter such as vials, test tubes, pencils, lipsticks, small containers in general. With the “small jars” option, you can also label containers with the sealing cap exposed, such as 30/40 g jars. By opening the "fork" to the maximum, products with a diameter of up to 110mm can be processed. Such as flasks, bottles, flasks, cardboard tubes, etc.
Pk-52 can also be connected to the well-known EPSON printer mod. The “DURABrite Ultra” type polymer inks offer good definition of details, fast drying, water resistance and high resistance over time.
