The new TDP-247 series of direct thermal label printers offer best-in-class speed
The TDP-247 series features two high-speed models, TDP-247 and TDP-345, both of which are ideal for product marking, shipping, retail, and other labeling applications. The TDP-247 is capable of printing 4-inch wide 203 dpi labels at speeds of up to 7 inches per second. The TDP-345 offers high-resolution printing of 300 dpi at speeds up to 5 inches per second. Both models come standard with USB, parallel, and serial connections. Other options include an internal Ethernet interface for easy network integration, label cutters, and a keyboard for label printing in stand-alone or downtime situations.
Given their compact design, the TDP-247 Series printers are ideal for a variety of applications, easily accommodating tight workspaces that are often too small for larger printers. Both models feature an easy-to-use clamshell design that allows users to simply open the lid and insert label rolls into a centrally sloped compartment. The printer also comes standard with black marks, gap or notch sensors, which are fully adjustable from side to side.
The TDP-247 series features a powerful 200MHz processor, 4MB Flash memory, 8MB SDRAM, and an SD memory expansion slot that increases Flash storage up to 4GB. Both models support industry-standard emulations, including Eltron® and Zebra® printer languages.
