The printer offers the same quality features as the LX910e with the addition of a user-replaceable print head and large individual CMY cartridges with water-based or pigmented inks. Primera LX3000e CMY cartridges with Big Ink ™
The Big Ink ™ system uses water-based or pigmented inks optimized for brightness, durability and optical density. The latter is particularly high for black, being generated by the CMY three-color process. These ways of dialing black have several advantages over the black inks used by other color label printers. The labels for Primera LX3000e in fact have: improved water resistance, compatibility with a wider range of special label media and greater resistance to smudging.
